Skitch Freezes, won't open pdf. Mac.

Hello, 

I've been using evernote to write notes for school, and download PDFs. I annotate them in Skitch. 

When I first started using skitch, all was fine.

Then ~10 notes were in the skitch app and after that the app didn't open any of them, just gave me the beach ball.

I tried force shutting, restarting, didn't work. I uninstalled, reinstalled, and it still didn't work. 

Is it possible that there are too many files in my skitch folder? And how do I move them to another notebook in Evernote while erasing them from my skitch folder?
