todd1611 2
I merged (2) notes together. When I searched for the sub-note using an intitle search, nothing turned up, even though the search term is in the title of the sub-note. Does anyone know how I can find a note like this without having to do multiple searches? Thanks! Todd Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,588 Posted February 5, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted February 5, 2014 When notes are merged, all titles are lost as titles (i.e., as being relevant to intitle: search) except for that of the result note. The text of the missing titles are kept as headers for each subnote and can be found using normal search. Link to comment
todd1611 2
Okay. And by "normal" search you mean there are no shortcuts (ie "intitle:")? You just have to hunt using key words from memory? Any tips on how to handle this? Thanks, Todd Link to comment

Even if you're using tags, you have to remember what tags you may have used. Perhaps if you gave an example of what you're finding problematic, we can better help you. Link to comment
