Unresponsive Evernote on iPhone 5s

After the new update my iPhone is more or less unusable,

when i open Evernote it goes right in to downloading any new content but I can't do anything else....

After a minute it shuts down...

Tried re installing but no success

 

 

Any other with this problem ?

Make sure you are using the latest iOS.

Did you reinstall using a back up on iTunes? If so then the direct AppStore to device option is best.

Nope,updated the app automatically ,deleted it and reinstalled from Appstore,then upgraded to 7.3 via app update ..

And yes I´m on iOS 7.05 and still...

Back on 7.2 something and all is well...

Looks like the small Apple update to 7.05 recently for the iphone 5S might be conflicting?

Any others have this problem,if so best to submit a support ticket.

Same here - I can open evernote and usually make one selection and then it's frozen.  It's closed a few times but usually it's just sits there dead.

Curious if you guys are jail broken.

If so maybe there is some kind of conflict.

You can temporarily disable jail broken features by powering off the phone then hold the up volume key while powering back on.

Same problem. iPhone 5s, latest iOS, latest Evernote app and freezes after making any selection. Totally useless...HELP!

Finally have Evernote working on my phone.

 

I submitted a support ticket - they requested I send in the Activity Log.

 

Here is their reply and suggested solution - it worked!!!!

The experience as well as the log file seem to indicate a faulty update or installation of the App.

 

A normal 'reinstall over the air' is sometimes not removing all necessary files, so a problem might be persisting even when the App was reinstalled from the App Store. To prevent this, please try:

 

* Make sure all the notes created have been sync'ed. If necessary save the content of any unsync'ed notes.

* Uninstall Evernote from your device.

* Reboot your device.

* Connect the device via USB to a desktop

* Download the latest version of Evernote via the iTunes AppStore and install via USB sync

* Reboot your device again before trying to launch the app again and log in.

Ok,Giving this a try .

Now it´s downloading all notes again and then we´ll see

Think I got lucky. Deleted the app, rebooted phone, reinstalled app and it seems to be working fine now. Hopefully it stays that way. Not being able to use EN on my iPhone is terrifying!!!

Same problem on my iPhone 4S. Tried ShardArt's suggestion. No luck. Problem persists.

The problem seems to occur only when notes are sorted by "Title". Evernote app on my iPhone 4S no longer freezes after changing the sort preference back to "Upload Date" or "Created Date"
