ApplianceJunk 23
Can't Web Clipper do the same thing Clearly does? I'm I missing something not using Clearly? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,719 Posted February 1, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted February 1, 2014 I use both, for reasons which include...unless you use Chrome's clipper, there's frequently no 'simplified article' option, so the Clearly treatment isn't available unless you use exactly thatsometimes 'simplified article' doesn't cut it - but Clearly will: it'll sometimes include JPGs that clipper won't forinstance.since I have both extensions installed in Chrome and Firefox I'll try both options if one gives squirrely resultsI use Clearly sometimes to get the content - and then select and choose 'save selection' in clipperLogically I'd guess Clearly will be retired at some stage when all Clippers include the same option; for now, it's a useful backup. Coffee First Thing 112
I use both Clearly and Web Clipper to different ends. I set up Clearly to clip directly into my "Read Later" notebook; I use Clearly to clip things I want to read later. I use Web Clipper for everything else, and what I clip using Web Clipper goes into my default notebook. Link to comment
