PonyLoverGT 1
I have Evernote on my Mac, Android, & iPad. I accidentally deleted info, but only the Mac and Android have it removed. Luckily, my iPad hadn't synced in a couple of days, so it HAS all my lost info on it. I want to sync the iPad UP to the server and have that info override what's on the server currently. How do I proceed? Right now, I have syncing disabled for both Android & iPad until I find out what to do. Thanks! Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,071 Posted January 27, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted January 27, 2014 The notes on your iPad won't overwrite the information on the server - that's not how this works. Have you checked in the Trash notebook of your various devices? Have you checked online to see whether the web version has deleted the missing notes? Link to comment
PonyLoverGT 1
I didn't catch the problem until today. I emptied the Trash yesterday, like a fool, not realizing what I had done. The Android and the server synced yesterday, so everything is gone from both of them. Should I just delete my account and create a new one under a different username/e-mail? Link to comment
Level 5* Metrodon 2,188 Posted January 27, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted January 27, 2014 As a workaround...how about emailing the data from your iPad out to somewhere? Then you can email it back into your Evernote account. Link to comment
