Workflow: Evernote Mark-ups synching back to Penultimate?

Hi - 

 

Workflow question / glitch?

• Create to do list in penultimate
• sync
• open in Evernote (opens as image)
• use the mark-up tools to keep track of my list
  • Check-Mark
  • X
  • ?
  • !
  • arrows
  • notes
• sync
• open list back up in penultimate to add / subtract, etc ...
• Mark-Ups do not sync back to Penultimate, so I don't know which items on my list are complete ??

 

Seem like this should sync as it is image on image?  

 

Am I missing something?
