Fatal error

I was organizing my notes last week and I got an error that said fatal error, Evernote needs to close.

I have removed Evernote from my computer and re installed 3 times and it still will not even start, it brings up

the same error as it's loading the program.  I have been emailing tech for over a week, and can't seem to get

a solution to the issue.

Anyone out there have any idea how I can get it to work on my computer again?

I am running Windows 8.1

There is a similar topic here where they use "Revo" but I did a google search and there are other programs around that will wipe all traces of Evernote so you can install a fresh copy.

Sorry but I'm not a windows user so can't help further but this May point you in the right direction?

Support actually suggested Revo Uninstaller as their file-remnant-extinguisher of choice,  so I'd go with that if you can..  and yes exit Evernote completely (check for an icon in the system tray) even if the main app window won't show,  then backup your database,  Revo uninstall and reinstall and see what happens.  Much more detailed instructions are already in the forums if you need to search for them.

One question I'd ask is whether you are running the normal Windows client or the Windows 8 "Modern" style app?
