(Archived) EN on pen drive

Recommended Posts

SanDisk is the only vendor that makes drives that use the "U3" format. This format provides a clean way to package an application for use on the device by emulating all of the "normal" parts of Windows without requiring writing to the hard drive.

From our desktop Windows client, you can also install a Portable version directly on any USB drive using: Tools > Install Evernote Portable...

This doesn't have as many management features as the U3 edition (e.g. auto-update), so I'd use the U3 version if I had the choice.

Thanks
