Renaming Stacks - Issue

vr2nr

Idea

When running Mac OSX Mavericks with Evernote client version Version 5.4.4 (402231), when I try and rename the stack via any number of methods (right click for menu, some sort of setup cog, etc.), there just seems to be no way to do it.

However, when I to the web interface, and right mouse click, there is an option to rename (as I would expect).

Am I missing something? Does the OSX client lack this functionality??

Hi. Welcome to the forums. If I understand your question correctly, the process is pretty straightforward. I have a video here.

Hey GrumpyMonkey -

Very, very nice. The video could not have laid out the solution more clearly.

It is too bad that:

1) this info is not under help (best as I can tell)

2) the web client interface does not operate the same way as the the OSX client, and

3) the web client seems to be set up in a more intuitive fashion.

I am actually a premium user and a big fan of Evernote. This issue just got me a bit tangled up.

Anyway, many thanks for turning around a reply so quickly and solving the issue for me.

Glad I could help! I actually think there are better aspects to the Web interface as well. And, it would be nice if they would unify things across clients for activities like this, because there is no reason why they have to function entirely differently (a shortcoming with the Mac sidebar, in my opinion).
