iPhone 5S - photos taken aren't saved into Notes

Hi,

 

I'm using a new iPhone 5S on iOS 7.0.4 and when I use (in EN) the photo/document feature to take a photo or document scan it saves the pictures into my Camera Roll fine, but they're nowhere in EN at all. I then have to go back and create a Note and insert the pictures. Only then a maximum of four can be added to a single Note, despite the fact I'm a Premium user and nowhere near my monthly limit.

 

Am I using this wrong? Or am I expecting too much??
