(Archived) How do I stop Evernote from capturing zip downloads on my ipad?

Tried to download zip file to ipad (ios 7) and Evernote "captured" it, so couldn't unziip to install an app.  How do I  prevent this from happening in the future?

You're post isn't very clear. Apps don't come as .zip files in iOS. Regardless, in order to open a file on an iPad, you need to have an app that can handle the format. If you don't have an app for unzipping files, you'll get apps that would allow you to store the file, such as Evernote or Dropbox. Try downloading an app that will allow you to unzip files. There appear to be lots in the App Store.
