How to move two-step verification to a new phone

How do I move the two-step verification setup to a new phone? I found steps to move the Google Authenicator app to the new phone, but it only moved the code generation for the Google apps and not any of my other 2-step apps.

After a lot of searching for an answer to the same question, I finally just disabled two step verification and then re-enabled it.  When you re-enable it you'll get a chance to set up Google Authenticator again. It's a bit of pain, but it worked.

Yikes, annoying.  That means you have to reconfigure backup devices and print out backup codes again.
