mttolmie 0 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I want to enter events (as Note titles), the date that the event took place and perhaps some text. I want to see those events in the order in which they happened, not in the order in which they were entered. How do I tag a Note with some actual date in the past?
engberg 89 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Which client are you using? The Windows client allows you to view the Attributes for a note and set the Subject Date, which is independent of the note creation date.
mttolmie 0 Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 I did fill in the subject date on the Windows client for a number of test entries. However, how can I use the subject date to influence the display order? A search in support on subject date showed two (not relevant) entries. It was my intent to use the iPod Touch version and use the Web version as backup. No subject date there?
dvdmon 0 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 As far as I know, Atributes are only fully editable and viewable in the desktop clients. This is yet another reason they should be in all clients...
mttolmie 0 Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 This still leaves the question as to whether the value of an attribute can affect the display order.
engberg 89 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 If you show the Note List, you can click on the "Subject Date" column header to sort by this date.
