Andreas Schmid 0 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Since recently I can't access Evernote from my MacBookPro (OSX 10.9.1) anymore. When launching Evernote starts fine but ends up with the following message: Here nothing works anymore. When forcing to quit it will shut Evernote down. When starting up again, the same thing happens. I updated to the latest version of Evernote. I removed an reinstalled it according to (http://discussion.evernote.com/topic/16062-uninstalling-everrnote-for-mac-os-x). This message keeps coming. What should I do? Any suggestions?
ScottLougheed 1,316 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 This sounds like an attachment for a particular note is causing Evernote grief for some reason. Try accessing Evernote from the web, locating the note with this attachment, and deleting it (after saving the attachment to your hard drive and/or exporting the entire note). Try launcing the Mac app again. If all is well, re-import the note or create a new note and re-add the attachment.
Andreas Schmid 0 Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Thanks for the responds. I've tried that. I still can't access it.
ScottLougheed 1,316 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Are you able to access your notes without error on the web? What happens when you log in there? Also, try deleting your Evernote database on you mac, and logging out, reinstall the app. This will force the entire database to be downloaded new.
Andreas Schmid 0 Posted December 28, 2013 Author Posted December 28, 2013 I finally was able to follow your advice. And it seems to work so far. Deleting the Evernote database did it for me. Thanks to all of you!
