(Archived) Unable to Save screen clippings to Evernote

buckZor

Idea

This is a fresh install of 5.4.4, I just started using Evernote.  This is a pretty major Bug if it's a bug, so surely I have overlooked something simple.  Mac OSX v10.9 (Mavericks) on a Macbook Pro Retina Mid-2012.  I am simply unable to "Save to Evernote" from the Evernote Helper after doing a screen clipping either by hotkey or through Elephant Helper icon.

The screen clipping is present, I can type notes, but clicking the "Save to Evernote" does nothing.

There's no way to close this window and it overlays everything, so the only thing I can do is choose "Quit Evernote"

When I do that, the Evernote dock icon starts bouncing and I have to choose "Quit Anyway"

This is a major annoyance and will severely impact my ability to use Evernote on my Mac.  Please someone help me.

I'm using a Macbook Pro 2012 with OS X 10.9 along with EN Version 5.4.3 (402230) and Safari Version 7.0 (9537.71)

For what it's worth I'm able to "Save to Evernote" from the Evernote Helper after doing a screen clipping through Elephant Helper icon.

Have you tried restarting OS X?
