(Archived) Reading or scrolling through large PDF

Searched on this and didn't find anything, so I assume I'm missing something. Opened up a large PDF file and per the table of contents, what I was looking for was on page 318. But I didn't see any way to quickly get there. TOC had no links, there was no scroll bar or search function. Only way I saw was scrolling through by swiping the screen 300 times. This was on an android device
