(Archived) [Feature Request] - Tagging: Shortcut to turn selected text into Tag

I'd love to have the ability to select text (i.e. a new topic during a lecture) and quickly create a tag for that note. The current method of using Control + Command + T (Mac) simply adds a new tag to the pool but doesn't actually add the tag to the note. 

 

I put my vote in to repurpose that keyboard shortcut or define that if text is selected then the tag is both added to the pool and added to any note the user is currently working within.
