(Archived) Feature Request: expiry dates for notes

As my note volume gets bloated I find myself getting distracted when searching for something, as I trim my note volume by deleting them down when I see no-longer relevant notes.

 

If we could select a self-expiry date when creating notes this could deal with this, and consequently I wouldn't have the tension from thinking 'I must spring-clean my evernote sometime' which makes me think twice when adding more notes in the first place...

Never say never....but Evernote have been pretty explicit in the past in saying that they won't programatically delete data. I think this has been discussed before on here so a quick search may give you more detail.

You could set a dated reminder on them, and delete them when it's expired.
