(Archived) Hundreds of reminders in iOS, few in Windows and Web

My iPhone and iPad have hundreds of reminders, while on my PC and in the web version of Evernote I have only a few reminders.

 

In the Windows and web versions of Evernote I have just the few reminders that I created. In the iOS versions of Evernote, I never created these 259 reminders.

 

Does anyone know how reminders could be created for notes seemingly all by themselves? And why these iOS reminders don't sync with my web or Windows versions of Evernote? (Not that I want these reminders; I never created them.)

 

I'd like to delete all these reminders --hopefully not one at a time-- and prevent this from happening again.
