(Archived) Clear formatting of selected text on desktop applications

Hi,

I'm a premium user that uses the Mac, Windows, and Windows Mobile Evernote client.

It would be nice to have the ability to clear all formatting (1) with a given note and (2) within selected text.

Such a feature only seems to make sense on the desktop application since the mobile version is already limited.

My current work around is to paste the text into gvim and then pack into Evernote.
