(Archived) I just synced from the desktop client and lost all of the content of one of my notes. How can I get my note back?

I was taking important notes in a class and hit F9 to sync (as usual) and lost a screenful of notes. Does anyone know how I can recover these notes? They are very important to me.

I don't see how F9 would cause you to lose notes.

Brainstorming here...did you look in the trash?

I did, and it's not there. Any other suggestions?

To clarify: The note still exists in the proper notebook, it's just that it is literally empty. All of the content that I was working on is gone.

Since I can't find a way to recover this note, I've switched to Simplenote, which features note history and seems to be a better choice for me. I'm disappointed that Evernote free does not feature an implementation of note version history, which I've found in both the aforementioned Simplenote and Google Drive.
