(Archived) Updated to 7.1.2 and lost all notes on my Ipad

I updated to fix bugs on Evernote on my Ipad, ie text scrolling out of view when typing in and erasing letters. Following the update, all notes had gone. I have sent a ticket, received an email from Evernote advising me to look at the userguide. I could not find any useful information for my problem there. After looking at this forum, I saw uninstalling then re-installing had worked for some users. When I tried to delete the App on my Ipad desktop there was a message saying this action would delete all my data.

I do not have Evernote on any other devices.

I would be very grateful for your help in retrieving my notes.

Hi. Welcome to the forums. Evernote sends data to the Evernote servers. As long as you have been connected to the internet, your notes should have synced. Have you checked in www.evernote.com to see if your notes are there?

I had similar problems to the many people here. I contacted Evernote support 3 days ago and I haven't received so much as an acknowledgement, in spite of sending requests for progress updates.

Can anyone recommend an alternative product please? Also it would be nice to get a refund for my "Premium" version, how do I go about that?

Looks like "everything's Premium except the service (oh and the product)

Hi. Welcome to the forums. There is actually only one person with a problem, and it wasn't really a problem after all, as we seem to have worked out that the notes are fine. I am waiting to hear if they were able to get them synced to the iPad app.

As for support, could you give us your ticket number? I will flag your post for the staff. In the meantime, could you tell us about your problem? Maybe we could suggest a solution.

Yes, the notes synced OK. I followed the advice you gave to the other people and deleted/uninstalled Evernote on my Ipad, then re-installed. When I opened my local Evernote, as opposed to the website, I was prompted to sync and all my notes re-appeared.

As for "only one person with problem" I meant on the forum as a while not just this thread.

Hi. I've flagged it, but you'll probably need to wait until Monday. In the meantime, have you checked ww.evernote.com? If your notes are there, then I'd uninstall and reinstall. Hopefully, that solves the problem.

Thanks. I deleted and reinstalled the iPhone app now all is well. For future, it would have been useful if someone could have answered my support ticket to that effect, or even include that info in the release notes / start screen if new app.
