What's with the Web Clipper?

Web clipper really has been a nightmare lately. I'm posting this separately, as EVERY page I try to clip hangs. I have uninstalled the extension and reinstalled it and had no success.

 

It crawls when trying to open it, doesn't clip stuff and from what I can tell, I have no way to find out what was in my queue.

 

What gives, Evernote???

I've noticed this, too. One two different computers using Chrome, the web clipper hangs and nothing is clipped. I'm not have any problems with Clearly or the old Evernote clipper.

If the Web Clipper hangs please post the URL where this can be reproduced consistently, that will help us fix it. Thx.

Yeah, it's really frustrating, just hangs forever after hitting "Save" over and over lately.

I tested that site, too: My webclipper just hangs. Other Lifehacker pages clip fine.

Yepp, confirmed the issues on that Lifehacker URL. Will fix as part of next release. Please keep reporting URLs that causes problems.

Very frustrating. It hangs up on multiple web pages over past week or so.

Any page at summertomato.com won't clip.  I can't even get to the "save" part.  If I click on the web clipper in the toolbar nothing happens, if I right click and select "clip" whatever from the context menu it still doesn't do anything.

No irony here, works fine for me. Win 7, Chrome Version 37.0.2062.76 beta-m. What exactly did you try to clip? Article, page, selection, etc?

The evernote popup doesn't even come up.

So no selection made yet what needs to be clipped.
Using Safari webclipper on OSX.

 

edit: Strange enough, everything seems to be working fine now.

You should notice that we assumed that you were using Chrome, because the topic is tagged as such. The web clippers evidently differ from browser to browser, in at least some respects.
