(Archived) using both evernote for ios and android

I use evernote both on my iphone 4 running ios 6 and my LG android.  when i create a verbal note using the dictation feature i can re-open it in the machine i created it in, but not in the other.  is there a format that I can use with both that will cross-platform?  Thanks, Pete Walls, Camas WA and DHS, CA

Just to clarify, are you creating an audio note? Or are you using what is generally referred to as the dictation feature which is speech-to-text?
