(Archived) Synchronization failed. Invalid username and/or password

Hello World,

I am using evernote for a while now.

I have installed a fresh version on a new Windows machine. I synchronized all notes and everything is working just fine.

However, suddenly after creating a new note and trying to sync, the notification "Synchronization failed. Invalid username and/or password."

How can I re-enter the username and/or password?

Also, I think that happened after me changing my Windows username!!! (Something went wrong with paths to the software files or something).

Here are some info that maybe helpful:

OS: Windows 8.

Evernote version: 5.0.2.1392 (269392) public

log:

21:38:19 [6936] Command line: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Evernote\Evernote\Evernote.exe"

21:38:20 [3428] 0% Authenticating user "jokes_finder"
21:38:24 [3428] 0% Bad or missing password
21:38:24 [3428] 0% Session terminated abnormally, elapsed time: 3s
21:38:24 [3428] 0% * 0s (0%) spent in EDAM RPC

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Joker.

I have the same issue and have it for a while now and I'm unable to fix this because it does not let me change a username, email or add a different account.

And I only have this on windows using the latest version. Iphone or via the web works.

Please help.

Can you log out via the File menu?

That should allow you to try logging in again with the correct info.

If not, try closing Evernote and running Evernote with the /NoLastLogin parameter. This should force you to log in again.

- Close Evernote

- Win + R

- In the window that opens, enter: Evernote.exe /NoLastLogin

Evernote should load up at the login screen

I had the same problem, but it was my fault.  I had not signed in.  However, even though I have now signed in and synchronised, the error message keeps popping up in the lower right of my screen, and cancelling it has no effect, it just pops up again - and again and again and again.  Any ideas, please?
