(Archived) opening wav files with ioS7

Since updating my iPad 2 with ioS7 I can't open wav audio files in my notes.  On the iPad the symbol shows Quick time.  On my laptop I've tried opening the file with quick time, VLC player and media player.  Neither devices open up my audio files.  These notes need to be shared with educators and now I can't even play and hear what I've recorded, let alone share my notes.
