knodalyte 1 Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 My Windows Evernote life takes place behind a filtering firewall at work that does not allow insecure connections to evernote.com. One consequence is that when the Evernote app offers to let me download a new beta version, it never succeeds. I have to login to the Evernote forums in my browser, hunt around to try to find a link to the beta installer, copy the URL and change the protocol to https, and then download and install. This would be a non-issue if Evernote updater used https by default or at least offered it as an option. Please put this on the wishlist. Link to comment
