It depends on what you mean by "comparable," though. In my experience, there are very few applications available that are regularly updated, easy to use, rich in features, available on every platform, etc. Evernote has done a great job of mastering its market niche. However, for some targeted use cases, other note-taking applications can be used in conjunction with Evernote or as alternatives. It depends on what you want, what you are willing to give up, etc. Link to comment
