(Archived) Moleskine document photos are now terrible!

With the old app the document photos I took of Moleskine pages were fantastic. The pages were cropped perfectly and page waviness was flattened.

Took first page photo today using the new app and results are terrible! Just a photo of the top of my desk with my Moleskine notebook centered in the photo.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another step?

I had the same problem.  Version 7.1.2 released 11/12/13 fixed it for me.  I also noticed the guide box on the document camera is not the correct aspect ratio for the moleskine page.  I asked support for a feature request to add a moleskine option to the camera settings, and I encourage anyone else who is using these notebooks to do the same.
