(Archived) Referrals for invitations to join a shared folder?

I have a question about the new referral process.  If I invite someone to join a shared folder and they're currently not on Evernote, when they sign up, do I get the referral points?  I've got several invitations outstanding and I'm trying to figure out if I need to send a separate referral link prior to them joining the shared folder.

Referrals only get credit when they click the referral link *and* they install a client (not join from the Web), so the invitations alone won't do it for you.

So if they join with my original invitation (not the referral link), then install the app and log in I don't get credit?  Just want to make sure that they must join with the referral and install the app, not use the shared folder invitation and then install the app.

Correct. But you can contact Customer Support if you are missing any credit.
