Clipper not working in Chrome since update

Clipper won't work anymore in Chrome after the update. It just keeps "...clipping.." but nothing happens. The elephant icon has a little yellow box on it. It does seem to sporadically do the screenshot.

OS, Chrome version please. One thing that may help in this situation is to restart Chrome, if that doesn't help please try reinstalling the Web Clipper.

I've restarted Chrome to no avail. I've disabled and re-enabled the Clipper extension to no avail.

Hi I have Chrome Web Clipper v 6.0 and Chrome for Mac Version 29.0.1547.65.

I can't get the web clipper to clip a selected highlighted paragraph on a blog page on the net.

Interestingly I can do it perfectly with Springpad.

Evernote widget just clips the whole page

I experienced similar problems as above, but today a new problem with the update.  I can no longer choose a different notebook.  The scroll bar doesn't work and if i click on one of the other notebooks that does appear, the evernote window simply slides to the right in and is hidden.

Same here - logged out of Chrome - reinstalled clipper - no luck. Love this tool and hope it's fixed soon.

Same problem here - started as soon as I updated the web clipper.  A few pages will clips, others just keep spinning and saying "clipping", but most I get an error message something like "Cannot clip page".  Tried restarting Chrome, didn't seem to help.

 

Chrome version 29.0.1547.76 m .   Windows 8.

I had issues with Web Clipper in Chrome and ended up re-installing the old Web Clipper. Here's a link provided by an Evernote employee to download the old Web Clipper:

Even with the old version, I still find that Web Clipper in Chrome isn't as reliable as in Firefox. I find Notes clipped in Chrome often have messed up formatting (e.g., elements of the web page are misaligned or cutoff). I often open Firefox to clip a web page... a bit of a hassle.

clipper broke and you can't find evernote files in spotlight search anymore and the list goes on and on.  Something always broke with evernote

Clipper is even not shwoing up sometimes and constantly not working. Very annoying. I'm using Chrome Versie 33.0.1750.27 dev

Apologies for the immediate reply, but I found a solution to my specific issue.

Uninstalling Webclipper, downloading a new copy, and re-installing it worked.
