(Archived) Tags on Mac vs iPhone/iPad

On desktop EN on Mac, I can select a notebook, then filter with tags.  It seems that on iOS, I can sort by either notebooks OR tags, but not both.  Am I missing something?  How can I go to a notebook (to restrict the things I need to sort through) then select the tag(s) I know are associated with the target note in that notebook (rather than all notebooks) on iOS?
