(Archived) unsupported files formats

hi,

i was disappointed to discover that evernote does not display tiff images at all.

evernote is also completely useless for handling postscript files. there is no way to open or see the contents of a postscript file attachment to the note.

please fix.

Hi - Evernote may have plans to extend the file types that it can display,  but at the moment you have a choice of JPG / PNG / PDF and no others.  Office documents can be indexed but not displayed.  You can however attach a file to a note and then open that file in the original application if it is installed on the machine you're using.  Evernote wouldn't ever (IMHO) want to be an all-purpose document reader - that's not what it's designed to do.

thank you for your reply. i had to click a few times to get evernote to open the file. now i see it works. not smoothly, but somewhat works.
