(Archived) why there is not a button for insert a capture into note when editing.

For evernote for PC:

 

1 The capture of evernote will create a new note, but not insert the capture to the place that is editing. Could I do this?

 

 

2 Why the highlight of the evernote cannot choose the highlight color?

Hi - welcome to the forums.

 

1 - It's not possible for Clearly or Web clipper to insert a capture into an existing note.  You could take a screen shot with a variety of Windows apps and paste that into a note,  or you could merge the new note with an existing one and change how and where the clip appears.

2 - We only recently got highlighter,  so I'm sure it will get better - but one colour is all you get at present.

Screen capture for Windows (as opposed to web page capture used by the Evernote web clipper), activated by Win+PrtScn, can be directed to the clipboard by holding down the Ctrl key before you release the mouse while selecting the screen rectangle you are clipping. The image can then be pasted into your note.
