(Archived) Can I Force working offline while on wifi? Possible? Ipad challenge

My local IT will not allow Evernote Server to be accesses on our network. I have found I can work with off line notebooks and that's fine for me. However to make that work it requires I shut off my iPads wifi/cell service which then prevents me from being able to get email.

Is there anyway to just tell evernote that your offline even thought Wifi maybe live for email or messaging uses?

Don't know of any way to be 'offline' for one app yet stay available for another,  except to switch off wifi for a period.
