E-NoteForum 107
Using Evernote 5.4.3 on my iPad 2, I opened the app and realized that it didn't ask me for my passcode. I checked the settings, and the passcode had been turned off. I certainly didn't turn it off manually, it just ... turned itself off. I don't have a repro path other than "I opened up the app and it was just turned off." Wonder if it was related to the recent app update, since this kind of thing has happened before. Link to comment
DavidEarl 0
This also happened to me on the most recent update - lock was there before, but not there after; I had to turn it back on manually. Link to comment
E-NoteForum 107
This happened again with today's update. How can anyone on the security team even pretend they're taking security seriously? Link to comment
DavidEarl 0
Yes, I confirm it did not require me to enter a passcode again immediately after the update. However, this time I did not need to re-enable it, it did work the second time. BUT, the new version shows you the most recent notes for about 4 seconds before the passcode lock pops up, which is long enough for someone to read a lot of the content of notes if they do it repeatedly. Why this pause? Link to comment
