(Archived) Import photo from my hard drive into a note

I suspect this has been asked a million times but after extensive searching on the forum and Google, I am still not sure of the answer.

 

With Evernote Web app, running on Windows 7 and Google Chrome, can I grab a photo from a hard drive file and drag it into a note? If not, is there any way to do this, other than drag and drop?

With Evernote running,  you can use the 'screen grab' option - Win key + PrtScn - to choose and save a portion of the screen.  You can use right-click and file options to save it somewhere else (like an Import Folder) or email it to your Evernote address.  Or you can drag and drop.  (Sometimes you need to drag to your desktop first.)
