princecaspian 0
Hi I noticed that Evernote shows my localization when i click on the "i" button. It also happens when i share a notebook and i don't want all readers to know my town. Is there a way to disable localization function on evernote ? I've googled it but nothing came up to me :/ Thanks to all Link to comment
Level 5 Adjusting 276 Posted August 24, 2013 Level 5 Share Posted August 24, 2013 You can turn off Location Services (for an app or for the whole OS) in the Security and Privacy section of System Preferences. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5403 Link to comment

This should solve the problem. In my account, none of my notes have location data in them. If you need to change the data that is already stored, you can go into the information (use the "i" icon) and modify the data. Link to comment

I take all of my notes in plain text, so I have the luxury of exporting everything as html and then re-importing it. That gets rid of any metadata If you copy a note from one notebook to another, I am pretty sure it resets the created and updated date, but the location remains the same. I am afraid that unless you are willing to export as .html and re-import, that means you will have to manually change things. Link to comment
