AlexPacmo 0
So i am using Skitch to take photos and annotate them and i want to be able to share them on my network drive to be accessed/viewed from a PC without Evernote installed. Much like dropbox or skydrive is this possible? or are all my notes locked in the DB files? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 10,357 Posted August 23, 2013 Level 5* Share Posted August 23, 2013 Hi. Try experimenting with sharing notes and notebooks - if you send the URL of a note to someone, they'll read it in as browser; Evernote not required. Link to comment
AlexPacmo 0
i guess i should extrapolate some more, i have a piece of software that i wrote that finds images based off a naming convention and it pulls them from said network drive and i want it to be able to see the photo's i have a feeling that i might have to use somthing else, but i wanted to check before i abandoned evernote and skitch Link to comment
BurgersNFries 2,407
If you're sending the modified images to Evernote, then yes, the images are in the database. If you open the image file in Skitch & save the modified image back to your hard drive as a jpeg or png, then it's just a regular old image file sitting on a hard drive & can be accessed in the same manner as any other regular old image file sitting on a hard drive.
