(Archived) Paragraph/Checkbox formatting in the "card" or "list" views

Hi Everybody,

 

Apologies in advance if this topic has been covered. I just installed Evernote today as a potential to Google Keep. I'm using it across a Mac and Android.
 

I'm a little bothered by the fact that checkboxes don't format correctly in the list view or the card view. I've attached a picture of what I mean. I like the idea of these "cards" on the left, but is there any way I can get them to properly display checkboxes, or introduce some sort of formatting?

I might be being simply OCD but seeing all my tasks in a paragraph instead of in checkboxes is a little disorienting.

Can anybody offer a suggestion? Thank you!!
