(Archived) Differing photo sizes from iPhone

Hi Evernoters,

 

I'm fairly new to Evernote but liking it more and more. Got a query though:

 

I've uploaded several photos taken on my iPhone. However, they differ greatly in upload size. One was 1.3mb, yet another was 13mb. That's 10 megs difference!   How and why are photos uploaded from the iPhone so different in size, and is there a way to lower the resolution to save on 'usage'?
