(Archived) Removing background from notes

Is there a way to remove the background from either entire notes or from blocks of text within notes?

I find the backgrounds in some web pages result in poor legibility when capturing to Evernote. Yes, I can copy 'n paste the text into a new note, but that too often results in lost formatting, which can be worse than the original problem.

Try using Evernote Clearly to extract the meaningful content without formatting.
