(Archived) Cannot raise system taskbar when Windows 5 Beta window is maximized

Win 7/8 x64: when the system taskbar is set to auto-hide (i.e. remain hidden but appear when the mouse is moved below the bottom of the screen) and the Evernote app window is maximized, moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen doesn't raise the system taskbar as it should. Here's how to reproduce the issue:

1. Right click on system taskbar
2. Click Properties
3. Check Auto-hide the taskbar
4. Click Apply
5. Click OK
6. Maximize Win 5 Beta window
7. Move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. The taskbar should appear, but doesn't

Help? Any ideas?
