(Archived) Discouraged by Evernote not functioning properly

My Evernote MAC on-computer application stopped functioning. So I reinstalled the program. It downloaded 1/3 of the notes and will not update or download the rest. An error comes back saying that the server is down and it is unable to update. This has never happened and its been 3 days.

Should I reinstall? I have over 7000 notes but only 2000 will download.

Have a look at Evernote.com in a browser - log in to your account and check your notes.  If they're all there,  they will download - although sometimes it does seem to take a while.  If you're unhappy at the delay,  raise a support ticket.  (See below)
