When there is an update to evernote, I get a notification in the app, but have to separately hunt around to find out what the details of the update are.
Could there please be a change to the dialogue box that appears such that the release notes are *right there*, should the user wish to read them?
Either showing the text of the release notes or a link to the text would be reasonable.
Given it's evernote, there could be an option to automatically create a note within evernote (user definable notebook) detailing the latest release notes!
