Chuck Boyle 0
Ever since the 5.2 update the "Automatically sync notes in the background" option clears everytime my phone restarts, which I do every morning to clear memory and start fresh. When I realize my phone doesn't have something I entered on the computer I go into the settings, check the box, and wait for it to sync. Haven't been able to find anyone else with the same complaint so am I the only one? Or just the only one who has noticed it so far? Link to comment
Riverhouse 0
I have exactly the same problem. Sometimes Evernote seems to forget about syns settings also when I haven't used it for a while, even when I haven't rebooted the phone. Link to comment
Chuck Boyle 0
Looks like an issue with the latest updates and older phones. I upgraded to an HTC ONE and it has kept the setting through several restarts. Link to comment

riccolo 0
I have exactly the same problem for at least two months on my HTC One X. However, it doesn't exist on my Nexus 7 (2012 version). After rebooting the phone, there is no Evernote in "Accounts & sync"; after opening Evernote app, there is Evernote again in "Accounts & sync". Link to comment

riccolo 0
I have the same problem with my HTC One X when I RESTART the phone. However, if I SHUT DOWN the phone completely and turn it on afterwards, then Evernote can have background sync this time. Link to comment
riy 0
Same here on note 3. Restart phone seems to deselect background sync. Link to comment
riccolo 0
I uninstalled the app, rebooted the phone, and installed again. Then the issue no longer appears. Link to comment
