(Archived) Shortcut to Notebook assignment

I have a very lengthy list of notebooks that results in the need to scroll down when assigning a notebook to a note. Is there a shortcut way to assign a notebook to a note and thus avoid the scrolling?

In the note editor, click on the notebook selector up at the top right of the editing controls. You should be able to type the first letter of your intended notebook to locate to a place closer in the list, then scroll from there. I believe that this works in the notebook selector in the multi-select UI that comes up when you have multiple notes selected.
