(Archived) Notes not changing notebooks

occasionally when i want to change a note to another notebook and use the dropdown option to select another notebook at the top of the right hand pane on the desktop version nothing happens, the notepad itself will be selected but the note itself is still in the original notebook.

 

I usually have to select another notebook and then to teh notebook i want it to go to before it will actually more - does anybody else have this issue?

What client are you using?

no client, i'm talking about the standalone version. I use a mac running version 5.1.4

You have to be using a client. Web, Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, etc. If you are using the downloaded version on a Mac, then you are using the Mac client.
