(Archived) Clipper falsely indicates notes in clip queue

I have the latest version of Chrome and the clipper. This just started today. The Clipper icon in the toolbar shows I have notes that are in the clipping queue (the yellow box in the lower right of the icon) that should indicate a clip has been captured and is in the process of being uploaded into my account.

 

This number is supposed to go away when the upload is done, but it isn't. The notes are showing up in my account, but the counter remains. I am not checking every clipping to make sure the note gets there.

 

Any ideas?
