(Archived) How to download and convert EN audio files?

Nick Goodwin

Idea

Hello there, I'd appreciate advice on downloading and converting audio files using my Mac.

I need to access the files on other devices and also send them to colleagues who may have either Macs or PCs. I understand that EN audio recordings are .aac files. My two questions are:

1. What's the best file type to use so that a variety of people on a variety of devices/platforms can listen to them?

2. How do I convert my current EN audio files to that format?

Many thanks in advance and apologies if I missed similar previous discussions.

Regards,

Nick

IMO, the most generic audio format is MP3. Google for converters. I'm sure there are many out there. In the past, I've used Super.
